Pan's Awkward Face has been coached by directors from: The Second City LA (David Razowsky), IO West (Shulie Cohen), Flash Family (Doug Kassel), the UCB Touring Company (Will and Kevin Hines), and LA Connection (Al Bowen). Pan Theater performers have trained and performed in Los Angeles, Boston, Chicago, New York and San Francisco. Current troupe members have studied and trained at: Improv Asylum, Improv Boston, Second City, Improv Olympics, Bay Area Theater Sports (BATS), SF Comedy College and of course Pan Theater. Our performers have also studied at: American Conservatory Theater, Berkeley Rep., the Bay Area Acting Studio, UC Berkeley and San Francisco State University. Awkward Face includes working comedians and actors. All of our directors teach, direct and perform. Alumni of our Troupe Training Program have gone on to study at the Groundlings, IO West and The Second City. Our students have also gone on to work in film and stage both in the San Francisco Bay Area and in Los Angeles.
